Job Description:
Arcot Systems has an opening for a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of enterprise software products.

The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop software products which interface with large scale enterprise security, access control, and identity management systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Java and J2EE experience
• 3+ years of C/C++ experience
• Knowledge and experience developing packaged enterprise software on both Windows 2000/2003 and UNIX (Linux or Solaris) platforms
• Experience developing Java software using frameworks such as Struts, Spring, and JSF
• N-tier architecture design and development experience
• Programming experience with SQL, JDBC, and/or Hibernate
• Experience with Java development tools such as MyEclipse and NetBeans
• Familiarity and experience with software engineering methodologies and principles throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
• Bachelor's degree. M.S. preferred

Highly desirable qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with leading enterprise access control and identity management systems such as CA-SiteMinder (formerly Netegrity), Tivoli Access Manager (TAM), Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), Oracle Access Manager (formerly Oblix), Sun Identity Manager, Sun Access Manager
• Programming experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP, WSDL, Axis
• Programming experience with Java security, JCE/JCA, JSSE, JAAS • Programming experience with LDAP and/or Active Directory
• Experience in security vulnerability analysis and secure programming practices
• Information security, cryptography, cryptographic protocols, PKCS standards, public key infrastructure (PKI)
