Job Description:
The software engineer II is responsible for architecting, designing, developing, testing and releasing identity management products. The software engineer is part of the R&D team which works on a variety of technologies and platforms and offers an opportunity to learn key development techniques. Engineering often works with technologists from large customers with complex operations.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge in Java programming with emphasis on object-oriented development.
• Good understanding of application development in J2EE (Servlet, JSP) technology, knowledge of Struts and JMS will be a plus.
• Good knowledge in network programming using sockets and in the development of multi- threaded servers.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and improvise the product to meet the desired quality.
• Good knowledge in relational database technology, SQL programming and ODBC programming.
• Knowledge and experience developing software in Windows 2000 and Solaris (and/or other UNIX platforms.) • Good debugging skills, exposure with debugging tools such as dbx, gdb, and idebug
• Working knowledge of XML parsers
• Exposure to software testing is preferred.
• Ability multi task.
• Exposure to public key infrastructure.
• Exposure to computer security, cryptography, cryptographic protocols, or public key infrastructure is a plus.
• Exposure of automation tools such as QTP and WinRunner.
• B.Tech/B.E/M.S (Computer Science or equivalent degree) with 4-6 years experience in product development
