Who is Eligible
Open only to persons who are 18 years of age or older. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted. Employees and their immediate families (including household members) of Arcot Systems, Inc. ("Sponsor"), or its agents, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible.

How to Enter
Registration Entry: Navigate here and click on the appropriate interactive buttons/links and follow the prompts to complete the online forms and enter the Sweepstakes and if necessary submit a new user registration (includes acceptance of Arcot’s Terms of Use). To be eligible, all forms must be fully completed.

Mail Entry:
To enter without providing information requested by the online forms or registering, send a 3" x 5" card with the words "Win an Apple iPod Sweepstakes Entry" on one side and your complete name, address, home and work telephone numbers, on the other. Place it in an envelope, affix appropriate postage and mail to: Arcot Systems, Inc., “Win an Apple iPod Sweepstakes Entry", 455 West Maude Ave #210, Sunnyvale CA 94085-3517, Attention Marketing. Each envelope can contain only one entry per person and only the first entry received will be accepted.

Limit one entry per person and/or email address. Incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries. Use of a street address is required and cannot include a PO Box, PMB, AP/FPO or similar address. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Proof of mailing or transmission does not constitute proof of delivery. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the registered account holder utilizing the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes begins May 15th and ends June 30, 2008. Only those entries submitted and received during the aforementioned dates are eligible to win.

Prizes and Timing


Grand Prize: 1 (one) Apple iPod Touch 32 GB
Approximate Value: $500 USD

The winners of the Grand Prize will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received. To be eligible for the Grand Prize entry must comply with these Official Rules and be received by 11:59 p.m. PST June 30, 2008. Drawings will be held on or about . Winner(s) will be notified by email and/or telephone. In the event that any email notification is returned as undelivered, Sponsor will attempt to re-send said email up to 5 times. If a winner does not respond to the e-mail and/or telephone notification within five (5) business days, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner will be selected. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his or her email address or phone number. To do so, anyone with a registration should update the information stored with Sponsor by sending an e-mail to marketing@arcot.com. Otherwise advise Arcot of the change by writing to: Arcot Systems, Inc., “Win an Apple iPod Sweepstakes Entry", 455 West Maude Ave #210, Sunnyvale CA 94085-3517, Attention Marketing. A person found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Sponsor will be disqualified. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which, in the opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration, notice will be posted at www.arcot.com.

Miscellaneous
Odds of receiving a prize depends upon the number of entries. Incomplete or incorrect entries are void. All federal, state and local taxes, and all income and any other taxes, fees and surcharges will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner must complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where permitted by law) and return them within ten (10) business days as a condition of receiving a prize. Failure to return the completed documents or provide required information will result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility. Winners consent to use of their names and/or photographs for promotional purposes and without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. No substitution or transfer is permitted except by Sponsor due to unavailability, in which case a similar prize of equal or greater value will be provided. Sponsor is not responsible or liable for the acts of third parties. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen items. Only stated prizes will be awarded and prizes have no cash value. To find out who received a prize, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Arcot Systems, Inc., " Win an Apple iPod Sweepstakes Entry", 455 West Maude Ave #210, Sunnyvale CA 94085-3517, Attention Marketing, after the final drawing date.

Additional Conditions
By claiming or receiving a prize, winner: (i) acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules including all related requirements, (ii) agrees to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects, (iii) agrees that no claim relating to such damages, losses or injuries shall be asserted against Sponsor, its agents, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies, and that Sponsor and its agents, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies (a) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind outside those written in these Official Rules, (b) disclaim any implied warranty; and (c) are not in any way responsible or liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from altered, late, lost, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, inaudible, garbled, illegible or incomplete matches, or human, telephone, computer, online, or technical malfunctions or failures (including network unavailability and disconnections), or acceptance and use of a prize or travel in connection therewith. Winner assumes liability for injuries or damages of any kind caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance, possession or use of any prize.
