Through its TPOC (Technology Proof of Concept) SAFE demonstrates a common, trusted infrastructure between companies, partners and regulators that allows electronic documents to meet the most stringent requirements of authentication, integrity, liability, privacy and legal enforceability as defined in 21 CFR Part 11.

Leveraging its SAFE-compliant strong authentication and digital signing technologies, Arcot SignFort makes electronic trust a reality for pharmaceutical companies and their extended network of partners, providers, investigators, and patients. SignFort offers a secure, streamlined process for signing and approving documents. It maintains legal enforceability, validates that the correct individual approved the document, and provides easy detection of unauthorized changes. SignFort performs all the digital signature creation and validation functions (as well as document encryption) regardless of whether the user's credentials exist in software or hardware. Arcot WebFort protects the end-user's credentials with an ArcotID secure software credential, deployable on a USB token, the end-user's computer, or a hardware smart card.
