HP partners with Arcot in several ways. HP's Identity management solution uses Arcot's patented secure software credential technology to provide scalable, easy-to-use, mobile and secure solutions for end user authentication. Arcot's patented ArcotID “Secure Software Credential” provides strong, two-factor authentication of the user and controls access to the digital ID verifying that only the authorized person is signing. Partnering with Arcot allows HP's customers to maintain resource confidentiality and assure safe access.

HP bundled Arcot's TransFort payer authentication system with HP ProLiant servers to provide the first 3-D Secure compliant turnkey solution available to Visa's 21,000 issuing banks and card processors around the world. Arcot TransFort solutions enable authentication for all parties of an online transactions, including issuing banks, payment processors, online merchants, and merchant aggregators. Arcot TransFort was also the first solution named compliant by Visa's Interoperability Labs for the Visa Authenticated Payment Program. The Arcot and HP-bundled solution delivers a simple, powerful, reliable, and scalable solution for banks and card processors around the world. The solution also results in fraud reduction and increased customer and merchant confidence with virtually no change in the online purchasing process.

As a System Integrator, HP also integrates Arcot's unique software based authentication capabilities with customers who require authentication beyond username and password.
