Arcot Systems Voted a ‘Hot Company 2008’ at Technosium 2008 Executive Summit

Industry’s highest worldwide recognition

Sunnyvale, California -- January 31, 2008 — Arcot Systems, the leader in software-only authentication, has been voted a "2008 Hot Company" in security by Silicon Valley-based Network Products Guide. Arcot currently protects 50 million online user identities worldwide.

"It’s an honor to be recognized as a leader and ‘Hot Company’ in such a competitive industry," said Carol Stone Alexander, vice president of marketing for Arcot. "We are looking forward to 2008. This will be the year that organizations take hard action to stamp out online identity fraud by ensuring they verify the identity of customers and employees."

Alexander presented to senior executives and leaders from the technology industry including venture capitalists, media and peers at the Technosium 2008 Executive Summit this week in Santa Clara in the heart of Silicon Valley.

"The 2008 Hot Company award recognizes organizations like Arcot that have a clear and strong focus on innovation and growth," says Rake Narang, editor-in-chief of Network Products Guide. "This strategy will help companies thrive despite global economy uncertainties in 2008."
